The current RAI Amsterdam building was opened in 1961, but the first exhibition was held in 1895 in a space that is no longer there. It has 12 pavilions, 2 auditoriums and 70 conference and meeting rooms.
Transport and access points
The metro goes from Amsterdam city centre to the RAI along line 51 and along line 52 in Europaplein. Tram number 4 and buses 62 and 284 also go there. You can get to either station by train from Schiphol airport.
Hotels and accommodation
nhow Amsterdam RAI is set to open in 2020 in the same venue. The four-star One Amsterdam hotel is the closest and there are several B&Bs just a few metres away.
